The International Seminar on Belt Transmissions 2001-Kyoto

Organized and Sponsored by The Society of Belt Transmission Engineers
The international seminar on belt transmissions organized by the Society of Belt Transmission Engineers is held in Kyoto on November 19th (Mon) and 20th (Tues), 2001. Professors or Researchers who present a paper on belt transmissions or CVTs of MPT2001-Fukuoka will be invited to 2001 ISBT-Kyoto. The organizing committee of ISBT-Kyoto welcomes anyone who is interested in belt transmissions as well. Please forward this notice of this international seminar to those interested.

Originality:
Originality of the papers is NOT required. The same paper of MPT2001-Fukuoka can be submitted to the seminar. Alternative papers also concerned with belt transmissions or CVTs will be accepted.
Language:
The official language at the seminar is English. In discussion session, if necessary, the interpretation between English and Japanese will be helped by the committee members.
Manuscripts:
Manuscripts must be written in English and sent to the office of the organizing committee by the end of October 2001. The authors are required to follow these instructions in preparing their manuscripts for the Proceedings of MPT2001-Fukuoka. The manuscript that is submitted for MPT2001-Fukuoka is also available for this seminar.
Presentations:
Each presentation should be no more than 40 minutes including the discussion.
Expenses:
Transportation from Fukuoka to Kyoto (Shinkansen or Air) must be arranged by the participants at their own expense.
Registration Fee: Free of charge
Dinner party on November 19: Free of charge
Technical tour and sightseeing to Nara on November 20: Free of charge
2) For Japanese participants:
Registration Fee: \20,000 including proceedings and dinner party
Dinner Party:
Dinner party for all participants will be held at PARURU PLAZA KYOTO.
